sleepless nights and craziness...

As my title suggests I am suffering majorly from lack of sleep. Luke has been sick for like four days now and fortunately in on the mend! So in between getting up with him and trying to hang out with Dave and staying up to watch Hairspray way too many late nights! This makes for a very ornery mother ( sorry kids). So today has been "one of those days".

Well, on to happier and nicer things.. Jenna and I went to the U of U gymnastics meet on Friday. It was a fun Girls Night, as always. However now my little four year old would like her very own MP3 player! I don't even own an MP3 player ( that is perhaps another issue for another day!). Jenna spent the evening listening to High School Musical and Hannah Montana with her cousin Emma. Thanks Emma!( that was said with just a hint of sarcasm) No, it was fine and made for a fun night.
Saturday Jenna and I accompanied Beautiful Bride to be Biz to the Bridal show at the JSMB. It was a lot of fun, so much in fact I am considering getting married all over again! (What do you think Dave?) Jenna had the time of her life as well, she said,"There are a MILLION treats here!" Yes she ate so many treats that day! We all got to sample the yummy food and I was very glad that I hadn't eaten lunch! So I thank Jeff for not going to the expo so that Jenna and I could enjoy it thanks Jeff!
I saw two new movies last weekend as well. The Bourne Ultimatum and Enchanted. Both were excellent. Again Jenna and I had girl time and she loved it and giggled all the way through Enchanted up until the end where she had to go to the bathroom, it figures that she would have to go right at the climax of the movie, isn't there some sort of law that supports that?
Well, anyway those are my ramblings of my weekend. I am just so glad that Luke is finally feeling better and I have my Hairspray fix in so now I hope to get a good nights sleep!
