Happy Halloween!
Well, my kids are officially tired! I think they fell asleep just about when they hit their pillow! We did lots of Trick or Treating tonight. This was my first year taking them, usually I get to pass out candy. We had lots of fun! Thanks to my wonderful Mother in law who came and handed out candy and watched Kira, we were able to go for a long time.( Dave was working the U game so I was flying solo!). The kids could barely wait until 6:00 to get going.Luke only wore about half of his Jedi costume, but he still looked cool. Jenna was a witch and Kira was a ladybug. After about an hour and a half,we took Luke home, he was so tired and stopped carrying his bucket so I knew it was time for him to be done. Jenna and I went for about another 45 minutes, so we have lots of candy! At one house Jenn got to pick some vampire teeth or bubbles. Or course I chose bubbles for Luke, who was at home. So instead of being happy that I brought him something, all I heard the rest of the night was how I messed up because I didn't get him the vampire teeth! He didn't care about the candy the teeth was all that he wanted. Finally, just before bed he gave me a hug and decided that the bubbled were ok. I love that boy! I had such a fun time with the kids! It is so awesome to be part of the fun!
Luke wouldn't smile because he was so upset about his bubbles!! Even all that candy couldn't make him happy!

A birthday, Pumpkins and Kangaroos, can it get any better?
I'm back! Thanks to Dave for going to a game night, I have a minute to update my blog. I always forget the the pictures go backwards from how I upload them, oh well. They are not totally in order.
This is our family plus one extra( can you guess who?) at the Pumpkin Patch. It was a little dark but we had a blast! The kids love to run around the maze and pick their own pumpkin.Kira was giggling when she saw all of the pumpkins, she was certainly more fun than last year when she was only a few weeks old! Jenna and Luke picked what they thought were HUGE pumpkins! Grace was able to get a medium sized one too. We had lots of fun! I love this time of the year!!! Anyway, it is a fun tradition that the kids won't let us forget!
Today we went to Kangaroo Zoo. The kids played their little hearts out! It was so fun to see how brave they are getting on the BIG slides. Luke was certainly proud of himself! Jenna was doing "cool tricks and turns" in the bouncy house. They love that place, they are sleeping soundly right now because of it!

This is Kira trying out Kangaroo Zoo! At first she was so excited, until she fell down! After that she was a little more careful around anything that bounced~! She certainly is my busy bee! She crawled all around at Kangaroo Zoo and I spent most of my time chasing her! I have to remind myself that is the life of a crawler! She had a great time and wore herself out too! That is the best thing about that place.

Happy Birthday to Kira! I can't believe that she is one! All of the sudden she has grown up so much, it's crazy. This is her enjoying her cake. At first she looked at us like we were crazy to give her a big piece of cake. She started by taking little tiny bites at a time. But it didn't take long for her to discover the chocolaty goodness and she started just shoving it into her face! Very cute! It was interesting to watch her at her party because unlike my other kids when they turned one, Kira was happy and enjoyed her party! Every time she opened a gift, she hugged it and giggled! It was so adorable! It was fun to celebrate the milestone of my baby girl!

One Day Too Many!
Well, I guess too many days have passed since I have blogged! I was threatened that I would be deleted if I didn't update soon, so here I am! I am just trying to keep everyone on their toes!
So, how do I summarize the last six months, I think that is impossible! We started and finished our basement, all in about six weeks. It became known as the money pit around our house. Once you finished something, there was something else that need our money! But it is all finished and I love it! The kids have more places to play. Although Jenna said that the playroom is too old now and no fun to play in! The novelty certainly wore off fast!
Jenna is now in first grade! She is doing wonderfully well! Her teacher says she finished her work among the first in the class and is very well behaved! I get to help out once a week at school, I love seeing her with her friends at school. I also am the parent coordinator for her teacher, I am not sure what I got in to when I agreed to do it! Just one more thing to keep me busy!I am very proud of her! She can read just about anything and is loving dance and playing soccer too. She has scored to awesome goals this season so far! It is so fun to see her getting it and understanding the world of soccer.
Luke is doing preschool two days a week. He loves every minute of it! We are doing a neighborhood preschool co-op. So all the moms teach once every seven week. We do a field trip every month as well. He can't wait to go to the fire station at the end of the month because he says he wants to be a fireman when he grows up. He told me the other day that I am not big like He and Jenna and daddy because I don't go to school and work, I just stay home. Sometimes I wish that were the case! He also said that he is big because he can buckle himself and pee standing up! he is constantly making me laugh! The other day he yelled down to me and said, " Mom! Jenna is breaking the commandments, she didn't flush the toilet!" Oh, I love my boy!
Jenna playing soccer. She is number three and on the blue team, they change their name every week.!

I love this picture! My mom gets to play with us every Monday while we watch Grace and Hannah and all the kids! We have fun and Kira loves her grandma Cham!

The biggest news is that I have a crawler!! Kira broke the mold and is a crawler! She is a cute little trouble maker now. I can't get anything done while she is awake. She is the most curious and busiest of all my kids! She is now one! I can't believe it! She has four and a half teeth. She says Mama and dada and she loves it when I say baba(bottle)! She gets so excited! Whenever she hears music she immediately starts swaying back and forth! She has rhythm! She also loves her mama so much! It makes me happy! I love that cute bug!

A warning about head bands and a trip to the dentist!
I think that this is a new record! Two post in only two days! WOW! SO Luke had quite the couple of days. So yesterday morning I was getting the kids read for church by myself because Dave was at a meeting, so things were a little hectic already. So we were doing Jenna's hair and Luke was playing in the bathroom with Jenna's plastic hairband. He was being awfully cute and funny too. Too bad that moment didn't last. All of the sudden I hear him screaming like he had lost an eye! He is covering his face and just screaming bloody murder. He Had snapped the head band in half and it smacked him in the face and scratched his eye! It was so sad! IT took quite a while to get him calmed down. I put a cold wet wash cloth on his eye and he thought that felt good. So Dave stayed home with him from church so that he could rest because he was in so much pain. Fortunately we didn't have to take him to the doctor and today he is doing much better and you can only see a small scratch in the white part of his eye. He was very lucky, eye injuries can be very scary! So be careful with those head bands!
Luke also had his first dentist appointment today. He was so excited and couldn't wait until his turn. He must take after Dave because to say that I am not a fan of the dentist is saying it very nicely! ( right Mom?) Anyway, he did so well and let them clean and polish his teeth and let the dentist look at them too. He loved the chair that went up and down too, I think that is is favorite part. He was so excited by his new toothbrush that he has already brushed his teeth twice since we have been home! Hopefully he will always be excited about the dentist! I was very proud of him!

pictures, wicked and ahhh life!
A few weeks ago Jon took the kids pictures. We had a lot of fun! i tried to take one of all three kids together, however Kira would have nothing to do with it! She was so done! She screamed in all of them. So after a few of them I took Kira and we took pictures of just Jenna and Luke. They turned out so cute! It really captures their relationship, that they are such good friend and have so much fun together! I love it when they are the best of friends. Luke is really going to miss Jenna when she goes to first grade.
So I told the kids that they could have their favorite toy in their pictures. Jenna wanted to have her Build-a-Bear, Susan Dorthy, in her picture. She had a blast, very photogenic!
Luke Chose his Geo-tracks train Aero. He was being very silly in most of his pictures. But he also had fun and did well.
Kira was a little more difficult, because she can't sit up all by herself yet. So I layed on the ground and was covered in a curtain and Kira sat on me. This helped quite a bit but then she had the problem of looking down at me. But we still got some way cute pictures! So here is the latest in our family: My dad had his kidney transplant about three weeks ago. Cleadus gave him his kidney, (he is totally my hero!). My dad had quite a few complications but I think is finally on the mend. Cleadus is doing fantastic! So that has been a little stressful .
Our house has been on the market for about 60 days now, not long for todays market. That is totally crazy trying to keep the house clean and smelling fresh with three kids! I break down and cray about once a week and then I regroup and start over feeling better, I guess crying is one way that I relieve my stress ( sorry Dave!). BUt I am trying to be patent and believe that whatever is suppossed to happen will. We don't know where we are moving yet. We just want a bigger house and not some many dang flower beds to weed! I curse that day we put in all that curbing! We are not yardwork people! I can handle a little bit, and even enjoy a flower bed here and there but man!, we have too many! So in my dream house I will have one little flower bed and a small garden AHHHH that would be nice.
So life is busy and stressful and good, just like everyone else I am sure! Jenna has been off track so I am trying to think of fun things to do, however I just like it because she keeps Luke so entertained! She also is such a great helper for Kira too!
Oh, one more thing..I went to WICKED last night! I was smiling the whole time! Anyone who knows me, knows that I have been longing to see that for years! It was the perfect evening! It was just amazing! A much deserved night out for Dave and me. So thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for watching the kiddos.
Well, I think that I have used up my alotted time for blogging. Until next time....

To Blog or not to Blog....
I have decided that I am apparently not a good blogger. I am struggling to find time to do it. I mean some days I am lucky to get us all dressed and fed before we have to do it all over again! Not to mention keeping the house clean enough to show to buyers, this is not an easy task as some of you can attest to! I really like to blog when I do it but that is my problem, we to find the time to do it. So here is my question to any of you who are still reading, when do you blog, where do you find the time? Right now I have a few minutes in which my kids are watching TV so that I can get a break from the whining of " Mom MOm MOM!!" There are so many things that I would love to do like scrapbooking blogging, etc. But where is the time to do all that! I feel like most of my time is used feeding Kira. She is the hungriest kiddo ever! She is a very happy girl, especially when she is eating! I mean she is not quite six months and she is already eating two feedings of good sized bowls of cereal and I just started vegetables yesterday, plus she is nursing quite a few times as well! She just can't get enough to eat! I mean look at those cheeks! She still wakes up in the middle of the night just starving. So anyway she is a very happy girl and the kids love playing with her, especially now that she is starting to laugh and play more.

This is her first feeding of rice cereal, i wasn't sure at first if she was ready, boy was I wrong she gobbled it up and wanted more!

I Love you More....
So life is just moving right along at our house. The kids are growing so much I cannot believe it! Kira is so happy ( especially with Mama, she is quite the Mama's girl!) She is sleeping well and occasionally starting to laugh. She just smiles like it is so good to be alive! She is definately a girl, loves to talk, already cooing so much and having conversations with mommy. We love our Kira Bug! Speaking of love, there is a commercial on tv for an allergy medicine called sonuprets(I am totally not sure of the spelling) Anyway on the commercial, it shows a mom and her little girl saying I love you, I love you more, etc until the mom says I love you more I got you sonuprets. So my kids think that is so funny and one day Luke out of the blue says to me I love you more I got you sonuprets! So now it is a contest in our home to see whomever can say it first! Today at Costco, the kids are just yelling that all over the store! They are quite crazy!
So as I said earlier, Luke is a potty pro! Once he made the choice to go potty, he has had probably three or four accidents in a week! I don't even have to remind him to go, he goes all by himself! It certainly was the easiest potty training I have ever had to do! He now has Cars and Batman underwear, and he is very proud of it! He also points out that Kira is the only one wearing diapers and she is the baby, not him! this picture is of him at Kangaroo Zoo. that is like the funnest place, especially during the winter! Luke certainly showed me that he was so big climbing on everything. He also is going to Sunbeams. In the last month has just grown up so much! I am so proud of my BIG boy!
These pictures are a little late, but we had a wonderful Christmas, everyone getting what they wanted and just enjoying being together. I love this picture of Kira She was definately my favorite christmas present!

One family home evening before Christmas, we decided to act out the Nativity with just our little family. Jenna was Mary and Luke was Joseph. Dave was a shepherd and I was the angel. We also had special Wise Men, Elmo, crab and dinosaur. We just gathered all of the stuffed animals that we could to make it as acurate as it could be. This was the best FHE we have had in a long time and one of the best since. They sat and listened and acted out the whole thing and laughed and had a great time doing it. It certainly made them think about the Nativity more during Christmas.
