Okay all you bloggers....please forgive me for my lack of blogging this summer, well okay it is more like a year! Pregnancy and me do not agree so sometimes things in my life just don't happen. Anyway, I am down to single digets until this baby comes. She will come in six and a half weeks. Yeah, for those of you who don't know we are having a girl! We are very excited! I think that Luke is going to be her best friend because he has not missed a day in the last six months of talking to my belly, not only once a day but several! It is totally adorable!
Okay let's see what has been going on. It has been way too hot for me, I am anxiously awaiting the start of fall, for more than one reason! Let me just recap a few things over the summer.... In June we we so happy to be part of Biz and Jeff's wedding, everything was perfect for them, I think. Again it was a little too hot for me, but whats new? They have been happily married for two months now. Speaking of happily married....Dave and I celebrated our 7th anniversary in June as well. I am feeling very old! June continued to be busy with going to Lagoon with Dave's company. The kids had a fantastic time and were very brave on all the kiddie rides, well except for Puff. Luke backed out at the last minute and Jenna was screaming and crying the whole time! And me, well I sat and took pictures and again was very hot! I did really enjoy Lagoon-a Beach, the water was so cold, I loved it! We also went camping at Cherry Hill with the Woodbury family and also up to the Uinta Mountains . It is always fun to camp! But I swore after those two times that I would go again because it was too hot and uncomfortable and I haven't! We have also been swimming a few times in our little pool in the backyard and also at Uncle Jonnys house. We saw fireworks at Eaglewood, the kids loved this! But I think even more than the fireworks was playing in the sand traps before the show started! We have also been to the Aquarium and went to the handcart days carnival in Bountiful. It was very fun for the kids, we were lucky because Grandma Cham and Aunt Kim came with us too. Dave was cooking, shucking and selling corn in our stakes corn booth (what a good man!)
Whew! That was a lot to write about and that is just a brief account of our summer days. They unfortunately or fortunately( depending on how you look at it ) are over. Jenna started school this last week, so we are into school life for quite awhile now. ( I will do a new post on that later).
Sorry the pictures are up at the top, it's been a while since I have done this. Well, keep checking and hopefully I will be better at blogging, you just never know.........
