On the drive to the hospital it felt like it took forever! We finally got a hold of Dave and we all raced to the hospital. We finally arrive at the hospital and my mom gets me in a wheelchair and we get in the elevator and Dave just misses us, so he just had to catch the next one. We come into labor and delivery and turn the corner and a lady pushing the lunch trays runs right into me in the wheelchair! About 10 trays fall on the floor, and luckily I only got a little bit of juice on me. It was totally a scene out of a sitcom. From there on everything was quite a rush, I was doubled-teamed by the nurses to get me ready, one of which I went to high school with - that was a surprise. So we got to the hospital about 3:00 pm and they started the c-section about 3:45pm and Kira was born at 3:59pm. So everything went very fast! I certainly felt much better in this c-section than during Luke's. After that crazy day, we have our beautiful little Kira and everything is going so well. I am recovering nicely, thanks to lots of help form Dave and grandparents and lots of wonderful friends!

Welcome Kira Nancy Plowman!!
So here is my story, on Monday, Oct. 6th (two days before my scheduled c-section) I woke up feeling more uncomfortable than ever, after a not-so-good night's sleep. I was feeling a lot of pressure (buckle up), but not really contractions. Well, I told Dave and had him be on alert all day, just in case. My Mom came down with my two nieces Hannah and Grace to play with my kids. So it was pretty lively at my house! This was my day to take the kids to the bus stop and I was not about to walk with how I was feeling, so I decided to drive them. We got there and waited and waited and waited and the bus never came. All this while I am thinking, I really think I am in labor, but I had an appointment with the dr. at 1:30 so I decided I could wait until then. So back to the bus, I ended up having to take the kids to school and then drive back home and then up to my appointment, all this time being very uncomfortable! So I get to the doctor and told the receptionist that I was not feeling very well so hopefully there wasn't a long wait. After a few minutes the nurse came out and ask how come I wasn't feeling well. I told her I think that I am in labor. She was very surprised and hurried me along. I told the doctor this and she said well, lets just check, so when she checked me, I was already at 7 centimeters! So she told me to rush home and get my things and then to have someone drive me to the hospital and as soon as she could get there we would do the c-section. After this news, I called Dave and couldn't find him! I called his cell phone like 12 times and then called his office and the receptionist to help me find him. So all of Dave's work was frantically trying to locate Dave and let him know I was in labor! Fortunately my mom was at my house and she was able to take me, while Papa Woody and Grandma and Grandpa Plowman watched all the kids at my house.

Jenna couldn't be happier with baby Kira. She loves to help pick out clothes and bows for her hair. She is so sweet to Kira and the best helper to Mom and Dad!
She is always hungry! She will eat anytime if I would let her! This is a very familiar face always searching for something to eat!
Kira Nancy Plowman (Nancy is after my wonderful mother!) was born at 3:59 PM , on Monday October 6, 2008. Weighing in at 7 lbs, 9 oz. She was 20 inches long. She is our smallest baby! She is so sweet and already sleeping very well.
A first family picture! We are now a family of five. We are very blessed with three beautiful kids!
Luke is the best big brother! He just delights in her and wants to hold her and kiss her and hug her constantly.
