I think that this is a new record! Two post in only two days! WOW! SO Luke had quite the couple of days. So yesterday morning I was getting the kids read for church by myself because Dave was at a meeting, so things were a little hectic already. So we were doing Jenna's hair and Luke was playing in the bathroom with Jenna's plastic hairband. He was being awfully cute and funny too. Too bad that moment didn't last. All of the sudden I hear him screaming like he had lost an eye! He is covering his face and just screaming bloody murder. He Had snapped the head band in half and it smacked him in the face and scratched his eye! It was so sad! IT took quite a while to get him calmed down. I put a cold wet wash cloth on his eye and he thought that felt good. So Dave stayed home with him from church so that he could rest because he was in so much pain. Fortunately we didn't have to take him to the doctor and today he is doing much better and you can only see a small scratch in the white part of his eye. He was very lucky, eye injuries can be very scary! So be careful with those head bands!
Luke also had his first dentist appointment today. He was so excited and couldn't wait until his turn. He must take after Dave because to say that I am not a fan of the dentist is saying it very nicely! ( right Mom?) Anyway, he did so well and let them clean and polish his teeth and let the dentist look at them too. He loved the chair that went up and down too, I think that is is favorite part. He was so excited by his new toothbrush that he has already brushed his teeth twice since we have been home! Hopefully he will always be excited about the dentist! I was very proud of him!
