the rest of the day and more fun and festivities! We ate delicious appetizers and yumminess. (I like that word!) In fact the food was so good that it made Jane fall asleep while eating her roll. She could hardly contain herself! As usual there were too many presents, but very much appreciated and everyone is always very generous, creative and thoughtful with their gifts. This is some for the kids with their "Captain Towels" (as named by Grace). Aunt Kirsten made each of these with a personalized touch on each one. Very cute!
As mentioned above, Jane fell asleep while eating her lunch!
My gift to my parents was a book that they could take on their mission of all the grand kids filled with advice and things that they will miss. As predicted it didn't take too long for either of them to cry. Well, it was very cute!
Aunt Kim got all the kids plates with their names on them. They love to eat on their name plates!
Well, after presents and food and playing games we headed home. It was a super fun day, I love Christmas, but it is ALWAYS nice when it is over! Dave and I realized later that day that we had forgotten to give another present to Kira and Luke! So that night they got a bonus gift, a pig pillow pet for Kira and a dog pillow pet for Luke. They were excited to have one like Jenna does. (she got one for her birthday). I feel so grateful for all the gifts that we were able to give and receive, we are so blessed!
