Fire station and Valentines day!

I am deciding to take a few minutes to write because I have a little peace and quite after a crazy morning! We watch some kids today and it was fun for my kids to have friends to play with all morning and now Luke is off at a friends house and Kira is supposed to be taking a nap. I am not sure how many more naps I can squeeze out of her!
Last week for preschool, we went on a field trip to the fire station. It is the same one that we went to last year and Luke remembered a lot of it. It was a lot of fun to watch the video and see the kids with the big trucks and of course they got a fire hat. Kira would not put hers on at first. She screamed at me when I tried but then she saw all the other kids with them on and she wouldn't take it off! Finicky little thing!
Kira with her fire hat! It was a very windy day and she was holding on to that hat for dear life!
Look at my handsome boy!

Luke and his class with the two fire fighters in front of the truck. They had such a great time!

On Valentines day, me and the kids went to help in Jenna's class for her party.( She had made a kitty box to put her valentines in) The kids loved going to Jenna's "dool" that is Kiraese for school. I was in charge of the party, big surprise because I am the biggest sucker! No, it was fun to do it and we had a great time. I helped with the game. We gave each kid a bunch of candy hearts and we had contests to see who could build the tallest tower, or biggest, etc. all of the groups had such a great time except for one. With that group we ended up playing BINGO. They had Papa Murphy's pizza and decorated cookies and colored pages. Jenna's teacher was so nice to let Kira and Luke join in too.
As for celebrating Valentines day, we had to cancel our plans that weekend for Dave and I to go out because of all the sick kids! So on Monday we just had a regular night. I did give the kids a little present too. The kids were also very excited to get their own mail from Grandma Cham and Papa Woody too. Of course, I have to mention that Dave got me beautiful purple roses, which I love! Valentines is great, but I love just showing my love all year!
