Kindergarten here I come!

Tonight was Luke's preschool graduation. He was so excited all day because after the program was a BBQ, provided by his teacher. He has had a great year. It was a class full of boys, which Luke loved! Although he got tired of coloring in preschool, he loved the singing and the reading books and his favorite was show and tell day. He also loved play time! Mrs. Jenn was a wonderful teacher and loved the kids. She told me that Luke was the leader of the class and the kids looked up to him and always wanted to sit by him. As she put it, "he was the mack daddy of preschool" Unfortunately we had to make sure that Luke was an example for good and that he would have a good attitude for the kids to follow and most of the time he did.
At the program they sang a few songs, the ABC's in sign language, five little ducks, the days of the week and months of the year. They ended with a cute graduation song to the tune of I've Been Working on the Railroad. Luke was the loudest singer and knew all the words. We were very proud of him! Mrs. Jenn then handed out diplomas and told a little about each boy. Then came the party and BBQ. It was super fun! As we were leaving Luke came up to Mrs. Jenn very and very sweetly said "I'm gonna miss you!" and gave her a hug. So cute!! I am so proud of my boy! He is ready for kindergarten and will do well!
