After Luke's Tee Ball game we picked up doughnuts for family home evening. We ate them outside because of the powder. The kids got a little messy, but had fun!
We decided to take a trip to the zoo last week. Of course we picked the hottest day that week too! Oh well! We took a picnic lunch and met our friends. Sadly, this is the only picture that I took. It is cute though! The zoo has many dinosaurs around the park. My kids loved seeing them. A few of the dinos squirt water and I think that was the kid's favorite. The giant T-Rex was a little scary for Kira. It actually roared and looked like it seriously might eat me! As always we loved the tigers and giraffes and monkeys. It a good way to pass the summer days! I'm sure we will be back!
Luke started Tee Ball last week. He loves it! He gets lots of chances to hit the ball and run around the bases. Its a big confidence builder. In the outfield he gets a little bored and chats it up with the other players. It is pretty fun to watch them learn how to play and remember where the bases are!
